Born and raised In Maryland, Alexandria has worked with children for more than 10 years!

After spending years working different positions in the childcare/education field, she eventually started working as a Nanny and developed a deep love for it. One of her favorite things about being a nanny was building one on one connections with the children she worked with. Alexandria has worked with a variety of different children, including special needs children, newborns, preschoolers, elementary school age and more.

After her and her husband welcomed their first son, she began to crave something different. She wanted to be a mama fully! She wanted that freedom of being able to stay home with her son, instead of bringing him along with her when she nannied. She wanted to have flexibility around the days/hours she worked so she could really dedicate time to being hands on with her son and taking him to things he loved like story times, parks, zoo’s… etc. Lastly, she wanted to start focusing on building financial wealth for her and her family.

She eventually founded Ivy League Nannies, a Nanny placement agency. By doing this she could have that flexibility and freedom in her schedule while still continue to incorporate her love of children into the work she did. She relies heavily on her attention to detail, excellent communication skills and enthusiastic personality to find the perfect match for families and nannies alike. She hopes that she can truly help nannies and families to find their forever match, so even after they depart they will still share special memories of raising the children together. Long term, Alexandria hopes to expand her family through adopting children in need and having more children with her Husband.
