STEP 1
To begin the process of your nanny search you will first fill out the family application. Next, our agency will reach out to you for a phone call or virtual meeting to go over your Family Application with you.
During this process we’ll get to know you more, answer any questions you might have and clarify what you’re looking for in your potential nanny.
STEP 2
After the initial meeting, If you would like to move forward, a non refundable deposit is due to begin the nanny search.
This deposit covers the cost of searching for multiple nannies, screening them, verifying references and more.
You will also sign a contract that explains our legal terms at Ivy League Nannies.
We take our job seriously, we guarantee nothing but the best for you and your children.
STEP 3
Lastly, we will send you "nanny profiles" of the best nannies we’ve chosen just for you! After you’ve chosen a nanny, an additional payment (The Nanny Placement Fee) is due.
Unlike other agencies we don’t charge any reoccurring fees after the Nanny is placed with you.
-
Each state has its own fees.
This is broken down into two main payments. The first payment is a non-refundable security deposit and the second payment is a Nanny Placement Fee.
We supply both Full time and Part time Nannie’s.
-
In a rare case that you don’t like any of the nanny profiles we send you, you have the option of paying for more Nanny rounds.
-
Once a nanny is hired, we will continuously check in on both of you for the first month to make sure things are going smoothly and everyone is happy.
If you find the nanny isn't a perfect fit within 6 months, you have the option of paying for another nanny search round at a discounted rate.
-
First, the nanny has to meet our requirements for our agency.
Our requirements are:
Currently live in the states we serve.
Preferably a minimum of 5 years paid experience working in the childcare or education field.
Experience working with toddlers, infants or school age children.
Currently be CPR & First Aid certified or planning on becoming certified.
American Citizenship/Documentation providing work eligibility.
Current drivers license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Law abiding citizen with a clear criminal background.
Valid references
Clean Background checks (sex offender, crime, drug tests..etc.)
If the nanny meets all of the requirements,
The Nanny will then subscribe to receive updates when there are jobs near her.
When a position arises that the nanny is interested in, they will reach out to our agency and we will schedule an interview with them.
After the interview, if we feel like the Nanny would be a good fit for that family, we start the screening process.
The screening process involves various things like background checks, drug testing, sex offender search..etc. All of this is free for the nanny because the parents would’ve initially paid the nanny search fee, which would go toward the nannies background check.
If everything checks out, we will send the nannies profile via email to that family. If the family likes the nanny, our agency will set up a time and date for you all to meet.
If the family decides to hire the Nanny, the Nanny would sign a ‘Ivy League Nannies’ contract and they’ll be on their way.

We work extremely hard and diligently to find the best childcare for every family we work with.
Our first priority is to always find someone that fits what the parent is looking for in a nanny. We do our best to accommodate both the nanny and the family.
Due to searching, verifying and getting numerous profiles together to send to the family , it can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. But we do our best to find a nanny as fast as possible.
-
No, definitely not!
We know how tough it can be to find the perfect family fit. We do not take any money from the nanny.
We do require things like background checks, drug tests, verified references..etc., but our agency pays for that.
-
Families typically pay nannies no less than 25 an hour, but the more experience a nanny has, typically the more money she will make.
It also depends on the amount of work the nanny will be doing.
The pay range in the D.M.V area for a Nanny through a Nanny Agency is about 25$-35$ an hour.
-
Our Nannies are independent contractors so we don’t take care of their taxes. Our job is to be a matchmaker and connect families with nannies. When a nanny is hired, before the nannies start date, it’s important that both parties decide on things like pay, sick leave, vacation, taxes, healthcare… etc.
-
We have tons of nannies in our database already, but we typically find these nannies through utilizing word of mouth, internet, advertisements and more.
-
It is completely up to the family and the nanny to decide what they feel is best. However, I believe our agency stands out, and here’s why:
With over 10 years of experience working as a nanny, I can relate to our nannies on a personal level because I’ve been there. I understand how much a nanny wants to find a position with a loving and honest family.
I’ve also been in the position of a mother with a young child, feeling the vulnerability of my baby and the need to be there at all times. I can relate to the nervousness families feel when searching for childcare. I rely heavily on my empathy and attention to detail to find the best fit for both parties.
Lastly, my agency stands out because we prioritize finding high-quality childcare while remaining affordable. We take pride in being one of the most affordable agencies. We genuinely care, and we hope you’ll see that too.
